Alan Wartes, has been the offensive coordinator of the Hardin Simmons University offense for 20 seasons.
His teams have established themselves as one of the most consistent offenses in the nation.

Coaches from all levels of play take pages out of the HSU playbook and his Air it Out! Passing Camp is a big hit among quarterbacks and receivers all over the Southwest.

Since 1990, HSU quarterbacks have thrown 380 touchdown passes and more than 46,000 yards. Coach Wartes has coached four All-American quarterbacks, Tom Enloe, Kevin Beam, Todd Baumann and Dustin Proctor ( who finished 2nd in all of NCAA in Pass Proficiency), Justin Feaster American Southwest Conference Offensive Player of the Year 2008, as well as seven All-American receivers.

Coach Wartes has coached 113 offensive players to all-conference honors at HSU, including eight players of the year.

Hardin Simmons University has long been one of the top producing offenses in the country. The coaches who instruct at the camp were either quarterbacks or receivers in college, or they have coached record setting players in high school or college levels. We want your kids to have a great camp experience and learn the fundamentals of throwing and catching the football.
